the packaging: an idea to reality
setting the mood
Establishing strong branding is essential to the success of any product. The branding of zeste can be encapsulated in this one image. Vibrant colors will be used throughout the packaging to convey the fresh, citrusy scent that is contained inside. Primarily using shades of orange and yellow with hints of green will give the packaging precisely the bright, summery feel that we are looking for.

The creation of this branding guide was essential in transforming the branding of zeste from simply an idea to a tangible package. The two typography variations that were used in both the central and abbreviated logo convey that the perfume is elevated and classy, despite the fun colors and imagery that were used as inspiration.
the dieline
ArtiosCAD and Adobe Illustrator were used in conjunction to create the dieline for the zeste packaging. The orange-shaped outline in the center of this image will be transformed into an intricate wrap-around cutout in the packaging. This cutout will showcase the equally as intricate and vibrant perfume bottle that will lie inside. The orange and lemon slices on the back of the package showcase both a brief description of the scent, as well as a short listing of the pure ingredients that seamlessly blend to craft zeste.

This image provides you with a finalized view of the zeste perfume packaging, complete with cutouts and folds. The simple, yet fluid packaging continues to convey the fresh, yet elevated branding that was prominent in the earlier elements of the packaging design process.
